Rudy Zacharia originates from Ikaria and studied at the Fernando Fennes school of art in Athens. Her affection for the island is reflected in her work, which can be found in her quaint studio situated in Agios Kirikos . Her work is inspired by the architecture, nature, history and mythology of the island and is expressed on various media including marble, wood and Ikarian slate. Furthermore she has a successful co-operation with different companies providing them with corporate art gifts. Her work has also been exhibited in different cultural centres and galleries in Athens and Myconos.
