Irida Maisonettes are located in the idyllic village of Nas, on the north side of Ikaria. The land, houses and natural setting around Nas are amongst the most beautiful in Ikaria and the region contains many sites of interest including The Temple of Artemis, the Chalaris River and preserve, a waterfall, Nas Beach and many hiking paths.

In 2008 we created Irida Maisonettes out of respect for the environment & Ikarian tradition, and with a dedication to hospitality. We guarantee to our guests that they will enjoy a comfortable and restful stay on Ikaria. For nature lovers and hikers our location is an ideal base for exploring the Nas region due to the fact that we are located right next to the renowned Chalaris River and its hiking trail. The whole area has been designated by "Natura 2000" as protected because of its rich bio diversity and physical beauty and all visitors to the region are awed by the experience.

The 5 individual maisonette residences are between 70-75 m2 in size, fully furnished and air conditioned. The 1st floor is comprised of a full kitchen, living room with convertible sofa-bed, full WC with bathtub and large sea view terrace. The 2nd floor is comprised of a bedroom with double bed, WC with shower, sea view terrace and separate balcony with mountain view.

The maisonettes have free air-conditioning throughout, TVs in the living-room and bedroom, computer, internet, phone, parking and barbecue. Outside, you can relax in a flowerful garden and enjoy your family or your friends.You can also play tavli, chess and other games for those who desire self- concetration and pneumatical silence.

The views are extraordinary and allow our guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful and calming blue Aegean Sea below and famous Nas sunsets.

We offer to families with children a welcoming and safe environment because of our quiet location above and away from the main road. The large courtyard area of the maisonettes allows children to play and enjoy the surrounding nature while at the same time being within sight and sound of their parents.

Even for groups of students and friends Irida Maisonettes offers spacious accommodations that can sleep from 4-6 persons. 3km from Nas is the village of Cristos-Raches, Ikaria's famous, unique and picturesque village where the lives of the inhabitants and village activity bustles even at 1:00am, to the surprise and joy of visitors.
