KAMPOS BEACH
Located in the village of Kampos, the ancient
Ikarian capital of Oinoe, Kampos Beach is a long and solitary sandy beach.
Bamboo and other plants grow right up until the water's edge within the river
plain that forms the beach. There is a snack-bar on the beach and a popular bar/club atop the beach. The nearby
village has an excellent museum, Roman
ruins, rooms for rent, restaurants,
village mini-market and a cafe. |
